My First Christmas

Here are some pictures of Colin's first Christmas. We all had a good time. It is certainly a different experience with kids, a little more hectic, but wonderful. We hope everyone had a great time with their families and have a great new year, too!s

Breakfast with Santa

We are the flat headed cousins.
Our first breakfast with Santa at Chapelle. We saw performances by the Chapellettes, HiSteppers, cheerleaders and Showstoppers. We also got our picture taken with Santa. I think this will be a yearly tradition because it was a really nice time.

Our little Saints fan had a good time watching the game with dad. I think Colin was in disagreement with a call in that last picture.

Colin's first Thanksgiving

Here are the "three Kings" at Thanksgiving: King, aka Popsy, Kevin King and Colin King. Poor Kevin did not have the best Thanksgiving due to shoulder surgery on Tuesday of that week. He had pain meds for dessert instead of pie. He is doing well and recovering now.

Baptism Nov.4, 2007

We had Colin baptized at St. Ann on Sunday November 4. His godparents are Jessica Johns and Mike Schembre. We had a little celebration after at the house and had a great afternoon.

Best Buddies

Here are the latest Colin/Bryce photos. We all went to lunch for Greatise's (Susie, my aunt)birthday and visited at Honey's (my mom) after. We can't wait until they can really play together. For now they just lay there and take turns accidentally hitting each other in the face. Niether one seemed to mind. Colin is 11 wks and Bryce is 6 wks here. I apologize to Colin for the very unflattering outfit. That is what happens when mom doesn't make sure that the onesies are not too small before paacking them.

Goodbye Summer

Too bad that Colin is just now fitting to the cute shorts/shirt outfits. Thank goodness we live here so that we can still wear shorts in November. Here a few of the outfits that he will probably only wear once.

Something to smile about

Well, Colin is growing like a weed and is smiling and cooing a bit now. He is 13 lbs and 6 oz and 23.75 in at 9 wks which puts him in the 90% on the growth charts. We have been going out to the park and for walks since it has been a litttle cooler, even though he sleeps for most of those activities. Enjoy!

Welcome Bryce!

Colin would like to introduce his cousin Bryce Warren Johns. He was born on 9-10-07 at 11:02 am. He weighs 7.5 lbs and is 20.5 in. Colin will be 5 wks tomorrow.I can't believe it has been that long already. He is starting to get on somewhat of a schedule and is sleeping for about 3-4 hrs at a time and eating like a horse. Colin is weighing in at 9lbs 13 oz and is 22 in as of 9-7-07. He is a good baby, only fussing when he is hungry or has a dirty diaper. I feel very lucky that he is so easy going so far and hope he stays that way. Congratulations Aunt Jessica and Uncle Warren!!!!

He's here!

Colin King McGoey was born on 8-7-07 at 9:35 pm weighing in at 7 lbs and 19.25 in. He is doing great, eating like a horse and growing fast. He will be 3 wks tomorrow and is already a little over 8 lbs. He still likes to sleep a lot but is having periods of being awake more. Sorry it took so long to update the blog, but this transition has been a little tough on me at times, but I we are all settling in nicely now. Here are some pics. Enjoy!!

Jessica's Shower, 37 wks. 7-28-07

Here are the most recent pictures. They are from Jessica's shower. I am 37 wks and she is 33 wks. I can't believe how big I am and how puffy I look. The doctor thinks I won't make it until the 20 which is fine by me. I am ready! Colin is estimated to be about 6 lbs 5 to 8 ozs as of Friday and looking good. We can't wait to meet him!!!
