Candids
Cousins from the bayou.
Here are the Toups girls, Noelle (yellow ears) and Erin (blue ears). We got to see them twice this past weekend which was really a treat since they live in Thibodaux. Noelle really loves to watch Colin and will be a great sitter one day. I think Erin is still getting used to the idea of Colin, but I know eventually he will win her over. Great to see you girls (Kerry and Stephen, you too)!
Happy Easter!

Lately at the McGoey's...
We have been trying to clean up a bit, you know, so it can get messed up again. Let's face it, no one in our house is known for their neatness or organization! But, in an effort to raise a new generation of McGoey, we are trying to get it together. I finally got around to getting Colin something soft to play on and he is able to sit and play with all of his toys. I do mean all of them because he tries to overturn the bin that they are in and ends up falling over. Now I turn it over to start and he will sit and play for 20 to 30 minutes. Kevin and I tackled the garage and Honey was nice enough to come over and play with Colin on such a beautiful day. Wish us luck on keeping our house clean!

Worn out
Today we had to go to Babies R Us to get a new car seat since Colin has outgrown his infant carrier. He was so good the whole time being very patient with us as we took him in and out of about 5 different seats over the course of about 45 minutes (what fun that was.) We finally found one that we liked thank goodness. We also wanted to go to Rooms To Go to check out sofas and this is what Colin did. He was obviously tired out from the seat experience and decided to kick up his feet and relax. He napped like this while we looked around. It was too funny to see his little feet propped up like that, but I guess he was comfortable.
