What an arm load!

Colin, Bryce and me! My two sweet boys!

Lately at the McGoey's...

We have been trying to clean up a bit, you know, so it can get messed up again. Let's face it, no one in our house is known for their neatness or organization! But, in an effort to raise a new generation of McGoey, we are trying to get it together. I finally got around to getting Colin something soft to play on and he is able to sit and play with all of his toys. I do mean all of them because he tries to overturn the bin that they are in and ends up falling over. Now I turn it over to start and he will sit and play for 20 to 30 minutes. Kevin and I tackled the garage and Honey was nice enough to come over and play with Colin on such a beautiful day. Wish us luck on keeping our house clean!

7 mos stats

Well, as of March 12 Colin weighs 20lbs 14oz and is 29.5 in. tall. He is growing so fast, 2 in. in 6 wks which I can believe because of the clothes we are going through! He really is doing great and is very happy and easy going!

Worn out

Today we had to go to Babies R Us to get a new car seat since Colin has outgrown his infant carrier. He was so good the whole time being very patient with us as we took him in and out of about 5 different seats over the course of about 45 minutes (what fun that was.) We finally found one that we liked thank goodness. We also wanted to go to Rooms To Go to check out sofas and this is what Colin did. He was obviously tired out from the seat experience and decided to kick up his feet and relax. He napped like this while we looked around. It was too funny to see his little feet propped up like that, but I guess he was comfortable.

Meeting Max

Mawmaw and Pawpaw just got a new puppy, a maltipoo named Max. They came to visit and Max was very careful around Colin, in fact mostly he stayed away since he has a lot of hair to pull and that is one of Colin's very best skills.

A few firsts

So today was a pretty big milestone for Colin, a rite of passage for every boy... the first trip to Home Depot. It was also the first time he sat in the front of the shopping basket. He seemed to enjoy himself and was certainly interested in all the goodies in the store. I know there will be many more of these trips in the future.
